Jiblah is a small city strongly impressed of history. It is an old capital of the High Plateaux. From 1064 to 1138, the area were dominated by Sulayhides, dynasty founded by ' Ali have-Sulayhi. It was a fervent Moslem of which doctrines, known as fatimide, forms the base of the Ismaelian branch of the Shiite current.
