New York would definitively not be New York without Central Park, which is for the New-Yorkers an object of pride, the scene of their Sunday meetings, the barometer of the seasons and, for much of townsmen, the only point of contact with nature. This rectangle of 33 hectares was conceived in 1844 and was completed in 1876. The buildings the more sought-after of New York are located in edge of this space more or less bucolic.
