Well near Matmata. The climate of the centre and south-Tunisian is dry and hot, less than 35 days of rain per annum and 200 mm of water per annum, and the temperatures being able to exceed 50°C in summer. The landscape of the area is lunar, bored with large circular baskets. It is also here that several scenes of the Star Wars were shot.
