The Serengeti National Park, with 15000 km2 for the park and more than 20000 km2 for whole protected area including the Masai Mara in Kenya is one the more huge preserved ecosystem of Africa. Landscape is very typical: huge stretchs of grass ponctuated by little rocky formations of granite, locally called with a South-African name "kopjee" meaning "little head".
