The Manyara National Park, with 330 km2, of which 230 for the lake. It looks like a long corridor on the west bank of the lake. Integral part of the big Rift Valley fault, west bank rises in a great grey cliff above turquoise waters. Park holds many elephants, giraffes, baboons, lions, impalas, some hippopotamus and very many sorts of birds and in particular pink flamingos (according to season).
