| From the VIIth century, Arabs settled in Sri Lanka, though strongly crossbreed, they always form a specific ethnique group. They are approximately 1,5 million. Burgher (approximately 40 000) are crossbreed descendants of the Dutchmen. They recognize them at their high size and their clear complexion. |
