Cirque of Salazie

The cirque of Salazie, which means " good camping " in Madagascar, smallest of the three cirques of Réunion, is located at 45 km of Saint-Denis. The first inhabitants were slaves who, fleeing the plantations of Bottoms, took refuge in the Tops. A great number of them came from Madagascar, as well of the sites have Malagasy names.
