The basin of the Orkhon river covers the northwest of the aļmag of Ovörhangaļ. The Orkhon takes its source in the ridge of Gļatrun and flow out on 1124 km in direction of the north. After the city of Sühbaatar, it joins the Semenge river that flows into the Lake Baikal in Siberia. |
