Uxmal - Because of its rather good state of conservation (a many constructions are still upright) and of the quality of its decoration of stone mosaic, of Puuc style, Uxmal is one of the Maya sites most famous and most visited. The monuments characteristic of the city are the Quadrangle; where large lengthened buildings and including many rooms form a closed unit around a rectangular or square place.
