Saadians graves


This royal necropolis, already used at the beginning of XIVth century, was increased considerably and clearing by Ahmed "the Gilded ", which made there bury his mother, Lalla Messaouda, in 1591. The simplicity of the garden contributes to the atmosphere of meditation which one feels as of the first access. The fineness of decoration contrasts with the robustness of these columns.
