Taroudant

Essaouira 80000 inhabitants. Built on a rocky peninsula, surrounded with mimosas and brooms planted to fix the dunes, Essaouira, the former Mogador, surprises by its isolation. Although the region of Essaouira is lived from the Antiquity, it is only from the XVIth century that the site is really occupied by the Portuguese, who build in 1506 a fortress and ramparts.
