Antsirabe

Antsirabe is a large Malagasy city (110 000 inhabitants), located at 1500 m of altitude, it is also an important thermal spa. Its name means " where salt abounds "; it is also known under the name of "Malagasy Vichy ". Vital centre of a rich agricultural area (rice, potatos, beans, corn, taro, soya) where all the vegetables grows easily. Antsirabe is proud also of a vineyard (approximately 500 000 litres by year).
