Tripoli

Tripoli is the second city of Lebanon. The name of Tripoli comes from the confederation of three Phenicians cities (Tyr, Sidon and Aradis - Arwad in Syria) which were established there in IVth BC). For this reason the Greeks baptized it Tripolis. From this past remains almost nothing.
