Santorini

Santorini, whose official name is Thyra, is considered by much the most spectacular of all the Greek islands. Greece is prone to the volcanic eruptions and the earthquakes, generally minors, but those which touched Santorini were so violent that the morphology of the island was changed on several occasions.
