Pont de la Caille


The Bridge of the Pont de la Caille or Charles-Albert, is located at the north of Annecy. This suspension bridge, built in 1839, 192 meters length, and overhanging Usses of 147 metres, is one of older bridges of this type still in service. The bridge was drawn by engineer E. Belin and was the only bridge to cross the gorge during one century. The vehicles take since 1939 the bridge with arches which borders it.
