Ingapirca


The ruins of Ingapirca are the best preserved ruins incas of Ecuador. Incas were unaware of the vehicles with wheels, but used a beast of burden, the llama. They didn't have any writing, but on the other hand maintained a very precise statistics drawn up thanks to the quipus (cords with nodes). An immense road network traversed all the Empire and ensured the fast supply of the cities.
