St Patrick's Cathedral, between Bride and St Patrick Streets, rises at the place where Saint Patrick builds a church at the 5th century. The imposing Protestant cathedral restored in XIXth goes back to 1190. Jonathan Swift, which was the deacon from 1713 to 1745, had a reputation of friend of the poor, and even more friend of the women.
