The statues were manufactured out of terra cotta. Each statue weighs approximately 200 kg. In fact, they consist of two different soils. The first very resistant and is mixed with sand. It is used for the elaboration of the frame, the armours and the members. The second soil, much finer, is used for creation of the details of the armours or the cap.
