La Moneda


Palacio de la Moneda, the presidential Palace, was conceived and built by the Italian architect Joaquim Toesca between 1784 and 1799 to be used as Mint. Palacio de la Moneda is the larger colonial building of XVIIIth century of the country, inaugurated in 1805.
