Ilha Fiscal


The lemon-yellow green neo-gothic palace sitting prominently in the bay of Guanabara seems straight come out of a fairy tale. It was conceived by engineer Adolfo del Vecchio and was completed in 1889. Paláçio Ilha Fiscal is especially known to have accomodated the last imperial ball, November 9, 1889.
